Must-Have Travel items

Must-Have Travel items

Travel Adapter

Power adapter

When I’m planning my next trip, the first thing I always do is check what the voltage is and what kind of plug the country uses. I’ve tried a bunch of different adapters and this one by far has been my favorite. This is awesome because not only does this adaptor work throughout Europe and most countries in South America, but I can also put two USB cables to charge at the same time. And for someone like me who has a lot of electronics, this is perfect

Microfiber Towel:

This one is a great size, and it’s so compact. Most of the hotels or even hostels I’ve visited lately provide towels, so I’ve used this more when I visit the beach or go to the parks and enjoy the afternoon sitting on the grass.

Packing cubes:

I find that packing cubes are great for keeping everything organized more than saving me space. So when I’m traveling, I don’t feel embarrassed when I open my suitcase because everything in a cube is perfectly hidden. My favorites are the smaller sizes for my undergarments. I’ll rarely use all of the sizes that comes in this pack during one trip, but it’s nice to have a variety of sizes to play around with and see which one fits my bag best.

Lock

This one is self-explanatory. What I like about this one is that it’s TSA-approved, so they aren’t going to break it open, and even if they decided to break it so that they can open and inspect your bag, the price point won’t break the bank.

It’s always good to carry a lock around to keep your things safe when you out and explore the city.

Travel pillow:

I personally don’t like typical travel pillows. I find them to be bulky and really uncomfortable. I stumbled on this one last year, which has changed the travel  game for me. And it will do the same for you. It’s machine washable, and it totally adjustable.

AirTag

If there is only one thing on this list that you need to buy, it’s this one. I placed it inside my luggage and I can track it th whole time. I placed a carry-on bag. Even though I have it with my most of the time, there are a few moments that I’m away from it; stowing it under the bus or I’m forced to check it on the plane. This is just a must-have after hearing so many stories of people losing their luggage this summer throughout Europe. Try out an individual one or just go on and get the 4 pack. It’s pretty simple to install and the accuracy is impressive.

Tripod

Essential for solo travelers or just anyone who wants to up their photo skills. I like this one because it’s sturdy enough that a little wind won’t knock it over and small enough to fit pretty much anywhere.

The bluetooth was easy to install and it worked from a long distance.

Old Unlocked Phone:

I don’t know about you, but the USA totally overcharges for phone plans, and I can’t wait to get out of mine. It costs me an arm and leg to use it internationally, so I’ve decided just to use an older phone that is still in good condition and just buy a pre-paid sim card to use while I’m traveling. Most cost between $5-20 Euros and is perfect for getting around or even sharing the hotspot so you can work from anywhere. When this post was written, I was on a train from Milan, Italy, to Lyon, France, sharing the hotspot from my phone. GOALS right?

MOFT:

This company is short for “Mobile Office for Travelers,” so basically, it was made for me. I have a couple of products, but these two are my favorite. This stand for your computer is travel-friendly and has helped my posture tremendously. Even though I have an awesome tripod, this little one for the phone is also great when you don’t want to set up or shoot something quick.

Clothes, Toiletries, and Things to Carry

Fanny pack:

Yes, They are back, and everyone is using them. If you don’t believe me, come walk the streets in any city in Europe and see for yourself. They are so practical, I feel safe having my most important things right on me, hands-free. I like to wear it across my chest.

I like this one for a variety of reasons, it’s easy to clean, has three compartments, and can surprisingly fit everything you need.  It comes in lots of colors.

Toiletries.

I used these two products to fill everything I need. I liked the plastic bag one for my liquids because they don’t use too much space. And the spray bottles I used for my hair conditioner and sunscreen.

Both are 100 ml so they are great for your carry one and will pass all TSA rules and sizing

A Simple Black Dress:

I love this dress. It’s so comfortable and versatile. The best thing, it has pockets. I’m going back and buying them in all the colors. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Dress it up or down, it’s so refreshing to wear it during the summer months and then throw on a cute jean jacket for those cooler nights.

Boho dress:

This is such a comfortable dress if you want to bring out the summer. There are so many colors and styles to pick. I also need all of them.

There isn’t really much else to say..it’s just beautiful.

I know there is so much more I can add, but I just wanted to share with you the essential ítems that I am using on my trip, and I think they have been great so far.  Let me know what else you would to know about what I travel with.
